I’ve been a part of some beautiful weddings so far this summer, but I’ve decided to dedicate this blog to one particular wedding nine Wednesdays ago – my own!

March 29, 2019

Hello 2019! Better late than never I suppose… and with that I’d like to apologise for my blogging neglect over the last few months. The first couple of months of the year are always notoriously quiet for weddings, so this year I decided to enjoy the rare time off to squeeze in a couple of trips away for holiday! It was lovely to have the time to visit Dubai and France in February, and it also gave me time to do some of that dreaded ‘wed-min’ (yes, that’s wedding admin – the rabbit hole to end al...

Regular readers will remember that in my last blog I was getting ready to fly to Canada on holiday… Well, that was eventful! I’m over the moon to say that during our travels, my partner-in-crime, Chris, proposed and we’re getting married in April! I’m super excited to be on the other end of the bridal emails and get organising. For anyone interested, or any brides-to-be looking for ideas, I’ll be blogging about the big day closer to the time so watch this space!

I have full-on wedding fever, havi...

The past couple of weeks have been pretty crazy in many ways! Last week saw me playing at events in 7 different countries over the course of 10 days. It's fair to say I'm happy not to step foot in an airport again for a while... oh, except I'm flying away on holiday to Canada tomorrow... that doesn't count!

In fact, as holidays go, I was able to make the first of these abroad gigs into a mini holiday itself. Flying out a few days early to Mykonos before an Entourage weddi...

The long days of summer are coming to an end and, for me, that means that we're already hurtling towards my busiest time of the year - the run up to *don't say it*... Christmas. Sorry. But before we start getting emotional about John Lewis adverts and tutting at shops playing festive jingles in September, I thought I'd tell you all about what I've been up to since my last blog.

Having looked back at my diary, I've realised that during July and August I have performed at n...

Over the past few weeks playing the violin has allowed me to do a fair bit of travelling, and if you follow me on Instagram you may have seen me posting obnoxious stories of these exotic trips. If you enjoyed THAT, here’s a whole blog dedicated to that time abroad (and other such UK-based shenanigans *ahem* I mean, WORK).

The biggest highlight for me was the time away in Singapore last month with some of my favourite people from Entourage. With a 5-piece band made up of DJ, sax, trumpet, percussi...

Spring is in the air and I have definitely had a spring in my step over the last few weeks! I've really enjoyed being able to play outside in the beautiful English (!) sunshine at recent events, and I hope this lovely weather continues through to some of the summer weddings I have booked in the diary.

A real highlight this week was being asked to perform classical violin at the Chelsea Flower Show press day in the beautiful gold-medal winning Wedgwood show garden by Jo Thompson. I performed Vaugh...

I've just about recovered from last month's travelling antics, and on a miserable day like today, I am truly missing the Indonesian sun here in England.

Back in March, I was lucky enough to spend just under a week in Bali, performing for a gorgeous Indian wedding. André Saxman Brown and I were flown out to Indonesia to perform for 2 evening events during an incredible 4-day wedding bonanza. I had never been to this part of the world before, and I really wasn't disappointed - the weather...

My recent violin performance highlights have sounded a bit like a new romcom by Richard Curtis. Unfortunately Hugh Grant hasn't yet turned up at any of my gigs this month, but it's certainly been a good time for bar mitzvah's!

I've had the pleasure of playing electric violin at some knockout venues for some very snazzy events so far this year. With bar/bat mitzvah's at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, JW3, 100 Wardour Street and a particularly incredible house in North London, I've played 'Hava Nag...

2017 has been quite the year in many ways! I'm so thankful for all the amazing places I've been able to visit on my travels as an electric violinist, and so grateful for the wonderful people who have been a part of it and made it such a special year. It started off with a bang and some of my favourite people, bringing in the New Year at Goat, Chelsea with Entourage.

It's been so great getting to perform with André Saxman Brown so much this year. With him and many of the other Entourage team,...
